As a parent you care about your child's academic progress and want your child to succeed at school. Kip McGrath can help you to achieve this aim.

At Kip McGrath Education Centre in Biggleswade, our qualified teachers are experienced in raising achievement for children aged 5 to 16 years. We provide every child with a free assessment before they begin lessons, so that any gaps in their learning can be identified and strengths and weaknesses highlighted. A personal learning programme is then drawn up, tailor made to your child's individual needs. Children are enabled to catch up quickly, regain their confidence and learn the skills that will serve them well throughout their time at school. Extension activities and challenges can be set, to stretch the more able students.

During each 80 minute lesson, children work on a variety of activities, using specially devised computer programmes, structured worksheets and written exercises. The material is designed to motivate and challenge whilst setting achievable goals. Children work on their own programmes in groups of no more than 5 to a teacher. All work is related to the National Curriculum or relevant exam boards, and dyslexia friendly teaching and learning strategies are used where appropriate.

The centre offers a clean, quiet and safe environment for children to work in. The presence of other children at the centre means that your child will not feel different or isolated, and will have opportunities to play fun, educational games with others.

Tuition at Kip McGrath is designed to be friendly and fun. There are regular competitions, games and challenges, with prizes such as books and toys to be won. Rewards are given for achievement, effort and improvement.
